Hon. Late Mr. S. M. Patel the former Principal, benevolent academician and committed social worker and his colleagues realized the need of full fledged educational institution so that it could prove panacea to attain all round development of the students of Bamkheda T. T. and nearby villages, the area which is socially and economically backward. He along with his colleagues founded the institute named Gram Vikas Sanstha in the year 1969. The institution has grown with leaps and bounds by creating nice accomplishment in the new millennium in the realm of education. The Sanstha initially started its preprimary, primary, secondary and higher secondary schools and senior college in the faculty of Arts affiliated to N.M.U. Jalgaon since June 1995.

The institution is an emblem of excellent infrastructure which has created healthy environment for overall development of students. At present under the able and visionary leadership of Mr. G.I. Patel, (Retired Block Development Officer), who is the chairman of Gram Vikas Sanstha, the institute persistently trying to kindle young minds with lofty ideas, accountability, virtuousness, uprightness, curiosity, moral, social and ethical codes with application of Knowledge and inculcation of values. The students of this institution are converting challenges into opportunities.
